Touch your Google account. If you have contacts stored in Microsoft® Outlook®, you can export them to a file and then import them into a Gmail™ account. You can then sync your Samsung Galaxy S III with your Gmail contacts. In this example, we've used Microsoft Outlook 2010. There are a number of ways to transfer your contacts and information across to your new Samsung Galaxy S7 or S7 Edge. If you only want to import or export contacts on an SIM card, the exact steps you need to do on your device are below.

If you have multiple Android devices or you're planning on purchasing a new smartphone in the near future, you know that all of your Google contacts will be viewable by any Android device you associate with your Google account. But what about those contacts isolated to your phone's local storage? Since those aren't stored in your Google cloud, they won't be available to other devices. So, how do you solve that conundrum?

Easy... you migrate you contacts from the local storage to your Google account. I'll show you how to do that in two easy steps. (This tip assumes that you have a device associated with a Google account, and it contains a number of contacts on the local storage.)

Today’s article will be on how to sync the contacts from Galaxy S8 with the ones in your Gmail account. Since this account is the one you’re probably using within the Google Play Store, it should help you with any of the other Google services, your Google+ contacts included.

Step 1: Export

2. How to Restore Contacts From Samsung Account. Step 1: Install Kies on your computer and connect your Samsung Smartphone to access your Samsung account. You can do this via a USB data cable. Confirm that your Samsung device is connected to Kies. Once it is connected, you will see the basic information about your device in the first tab.

Follow these steps to export your contacts:

1. Open the Contacts app on your Android device.
2. Tap the app's Overflow menu (three horizontal lines in the upper left corner).
3. Tap Settings from the side bar menu.
4. Tap Export.
5. Give the file a name and tap SAVE (Figure A).

Step 2: Import

1. Open the Contacts app.
2. Tap the app's Overflow menu.
3. Tap Settings.
4. Tap Import.
5. Tap Google.
6. Select Import vCard file.
7. Locate and tap the vCard file to be imported.
8. Allow the import to complete.

By default, all of your contacts on your device will be automatically synced with your Google account, so there is no further action.
